Comprehensive Personal Finance Program

You Are Your CFO: The all-in-one personal finance program for early career professionals

Feel confident that you are taking the right actions to set yourself up for financial success.

Be encouraged along the entire way with the support and financial education to guide you.

Build the peace of mind that you are doing the right thing for you and the rest of your financial life.

Starting life with your first few jobs can be exciting (you're making money! new people! new responsibilities!), but also filled with uncertainty, worry, and stress as you start to make money -- and have to manage it! -- for the first time.

Sure, you can (and probably have) googled questions like "what is a 401(k)" or "should I pay off debt or start investing first", but you're left without the confidence that you have a solid plan that takes into account your upcoming trip to Europe or the ESPP plan you're not sure you should enroll in, not to mention everything else happening in your life at the same time.

This personal finance course will teach you everything you didn't know you needed to know as you step into the adult world of paychecks, taxes, investing, and more.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hi, I’m Sarah. Sarah Sprague Gerber, CFP®, AFC®. After graduating from MIT with a degree in Chemical-Biological Engineering and Biology, I realized I needed to take control of my personal finances (student loans, anyone?) and that others needed help, too.

I completed UC Berkeley Extension's Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program in 2018 and earned the Accredited Financial Counselor® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designations. I started Momentum to help others gain control of their finances and start their lives on the right financial foot.

Young professionals need to start managing their finances early in their careers, even before they've saved enough to work with a more “traditional” financial planner. Let’s do this!
